Oakland, NJ is the location of a liquid food-grade bulk transfer facility on the NYS&W which is operated by Carry Transit. The facility has nineteen unloading stations and a truck scale. It is fenced, lit, paved, and has a spill containment system.
The facility uses an innovative heating system to circulate hot water through an intricate system of underground piping adjacent to the unloading stations. This allows for heating of the food grade liquids that are then transferred into highway trailers for final delivery to customer sites.
Carry Transit is a national leader in the dry and liquid bulk transportation of food grade and pharmaceutical products. As the food grade division of Heniff Transportation, Carry “Delivers Solutions” in a safe, efficient manner.
